Job Summary

The CDL Driver is responsible for safely operating a company-owned vehicle to deliver linens and laundry along an established route. This role ensures all customer deliveries are completed accurately, on time, and in compliance with all company policies and DOT regulations. The driver must maintain a clean driving record and perform all duties in a professional, courteous, and safetyfocused manner.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload linen carts at both company and customer locations, ensuring each cart is properly tagged.
  • Accurately complete all required paperwork, logs, and documentation daily.
  • Weigh all soiled linens under the correct customer account and deliver the soil to the designated soil room.
  • Disinfect vehicle after each soil pickup to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards.
  • Maintain the company vehicle in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
  • Present a neat, professional appearance at all times.
  • Submit a completed PreTrip Vehicle Inspection Report daily.
  • Deliver products to customers accurately, courteously, and within scheduled timeframes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.


Qualifications:

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Valid Class A CDL and maintained clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screening, and MVR background check.
  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and push/pull carts weighing up to 700 lbs.
  • Strong commitment to safety, customer service, and professionalism.
