Key ResponsibilitiesPublic Area Attendant Duties
  • Clean and maintain all public spaces including:

  • Lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms, stairwells, fitness centers, business centers, and back‑of‑house corridors.

  • Perform detailed cleaning tasks:

  • Vacuuming carpets, mopping floors, dusting surfaces, cleaning glass/mirrors, polishing metal fixtures.

  • Maintain cleanliness of guest‑facing restrooms:

  • Restock toiletries, monitor supplies, sanitize high‑touch surfaces.

Respond promptly to guest requests and housekeeping calls.

Ensure safety and cleanliness standards are upheld at all times.

Report maintenance issues (lighting, HVAC, plumbing, furniture damage).

Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure proper storage of chemicals.

Linen Porter Duties

Collect soiled linen from guest floors, housekeeping closets, restaurants, and banquet areas.

Deliver fresh, clean linen to designated floors and departments according to daily par levels.

Receive, unpack, and organize housekeeping deliveries and supplies in storage rooms.

Sort linen by type and ensure proper handling to maintain hygiene standards.

  • Maintain accurate linen inventory:

  • Track shortages, overstock, and daily usage.

  • Assist with stock rotation to minimize waste.

Operate and clean laundry carts, trolleys, and equipment used for linen transport.

Ensure safe transport of linen following contamination‑prevention protocols.

Support Laundry Department during peak periods (sorting, loading, unloading).

Skills & Competencies

Strong organizational and time‑management skills.

Ability to handle large volumes of linen and maintain efficiency.
