Overview:
This position is responsible for providing linen delivery and pick up services for the Housekeeping Department while maintaining Omni standards and exceeding our guest expectations.
Responsibilities:
  • Pick up dirty linen from the Housekeeping Service Landings and deliver dirty linen to the laundry.
  • Collect clean linen from the laundry and distribute the linen to service landings.
  • Assist with stocking of guest supplies and amenities.
  • Report any maintenance concerns to the Managers and/or Supervisors.
  • Ensure clean and tidy linen at all times.
  • Complete additional duties assigned by Managers and/or Supervisors.

Qualifications:
  • Environmental services experience preferred, preferably in hotel housekeeping.
  • Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate in English with guests, management and co-workers, both in person and by two-way radio.
  • Candidates must be able to multi-task in a busy environment, follow through on guest and manager requests, and work as a team player.
  • Must be detail oriented, possessing a friendly, approachable demeanor and high standard for cleanliness and organization.
  • Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift.
  • Requires frequent bending, reaching overhead and squatting. Lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
  • Push/pull objects weighing up to 75 lbs without assistance.
  • Ability to push and pull fully stocked housekeeping supply cart and housekeeping carts full of linens.
  • Must be able to work around a variety of chemicals and be able to respond to hazardous situations.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, specifically evenings, weekends and holid
