Cable Services Company/Inc. is looking for qualified candidates to join our in-house Lineman Trainee Program.




The Cable Services Lineman Trainee Program provides a focused, on-the-job learning opportunity in an accelerated environment focusing on the job skills necessary to be successful in the telecommunications lineworkers industry.


Telecommunications Linemen perform a variety of duties related to the installation, operation, repair, and maintenance of aerial telecommunication cables. Throughout the program, Lineman Trainees will perform construction work such as climbing telephone poles, framing poles, installing anchors, installing strand, running, loading, and repairing lashers, digging holes, placing cable and conduit in the ground, and installing fiber optic and coaxial cables.




Qualified candidates will have a strong work history, willingness to learn, and a displayed aptitude and commitment to the lineworkers field. A high school diploma or GED is required. Must be willing to work at heights, work outside in varying weather conditions, work on your feet and with your hands. Successful applicants are subject to pre-employment background, drivers license, and drug screenings. Weekly travel is required for this position.
