What is a linear roofing specialist?

A linear roofing specialist is a professional who installs, repairs, and maintains roofing systems that feature linear designs, such as standing seam metal roofs, membrane roofs, or other types with long, continuous roofing panels. These specialists are skilled in working with materials like metal, synthetic membranes, and other roofing products that require precise alignment and installation techniques. Their work ensures proper water drainage, weather resistance, and durability for commercial or residential buildings. Linear roofing specialists often coordinate with contractors and architects to deliver customized roofing solutions. They also follow safety standards and building codes to ensure high-quality results.

What are the typical challenges faced by professionals working in linear roofing, and how can they be addressed?

Professionals in linear roofing often encounter challenges such as working at heights, varying weather conditions, and the need for precise measurements to ensure watertight installations. Safety is paramount, so strict adherence to safety protocols and the use of proper personal protective equipment (PPE) are essential. Effective teamwork and clear communication with crew members help maintain project timelines and quality. Staying updated on new materials and techniques can also minimize errors and improve efficiency on the job.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Roofing Professional, and why are they important?

To thrive as a roofing professional, you need expertise in roof installation and repair, knowledge of building codes, and physical fitness, often supported by a high school diploma or relevant vocational training. Familiarity with hand and power tools, safety harnesses, and sometimes certifications like OSHA 10 are typically required. Attention to detail, teamwork, and problem-solving are important soft skills for delivering quality results and ensuring safety. Job description

We book 15 to 20 warm appointments a week for you. Homeowners who called us first. Up to 10% commission, no cap. Top reps clear $100,000+.
You can close. That isn't the problem. It's the junk leads. The capped earnings. A company built on being cheap. You're working harder but somehow taking home less. There's a reason you're reading this.
Homeowners reach out to The Brothers That Just Do Gutters because of our reviews and our reputation, and ask us to come quote their home. You walk into appointments that are already booked, with people who already want to talk to you. That's what reinventing contractor service actually looks like, and it starts with the person doing the selling.
We do the work right and we honor what we sell. This is what the customer expects. It should be standard practice. In this industry it isn't, and you already know that. Now all we need is you.
What You'll Be Doing

Your appointments are scheduled by area, so your day is efficient. We want you spending time with customers, not crossing Central Florida. Every one is a homeowner who contacted us and is expecting you.
We don't just buy ad clicks and hope the phone rings. We answer every time the customer calls. We treat them right throughout the job and long after. That's why your calendar stays full. This frees you to do what you were hired for: walk the property, assess the real issue, present the right solution, and close the sale. No back-of-the-napkin linear-foot quotes. No phony discounts to limp a deal across the line.
Work Smarter, Earn More

  • Up to 10% commission, tiered by performance
  • 100% commission, weekly pay, uncapped
  • Year-one earnings over $100,000; top rep clears over $2,000 per week
  • Higher commission tier on leads you generate yourself
Grow Your Own Book (and Earn Even More)

The appointments we book pay well. What you build on top of them is where the real money is. Your own leads, realtors, property managers, GCs, BNI, past customers, referrals, all pay at a higher tier. The reps who work them don't just earn more, they out-earn everyone else. If that's how you think, this is where you pull away from the pack.
Who We're Looking For

  • Real in-home sales experience: gutters, roofing, windows, siding, HVAC, or similar
  • You sell value, not the lowest price, and you can prove it at a kitchen table
  • You handle "I need more quotes," "talk to my spouse," "the other guy is cheaper" without folding
  • You're punctual, presentable, and self-managed
  • You're hungry, and you'd rather have uncapped earnings than a salary cap
  • 21+, valid Florida license, reliable transportation, able to travel Central Florida
The Team Behind You

The Brothers That Just Do Gutters is a nationally recognized brand, a Top 100 Culture Award winner, and Certified Great Place to Work. Let us put that reputation to work for you and make you part of a brand homeowners trust before you knock.
The Closing Line

Closing has never been your problem. The hard part is finding a team that does right by the homeowner, the work, and you. That is who we are. Apply now, and you could be running your first appointment within two weeks.
