Security Officer Patrol Associate

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access awareness throughout the site. Pay Rate: $22.15 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and sharing observations with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report hazards or maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor, vendor, and/or delivery access in line with site protocols, and support orderly traffic flow for personnel and authorized vehicles.
  • Support access control, package and delivery observation, and after-hours checks of doors, gates, and restricted areas to help to deter loss, disruption, and/or policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
