Job description

LINE OPERATOR  
Monday – Thursday  
4:30 pm - 3:00 am
$15.50 per hour
 
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS 

  • Pack, fill, and seal bags of wood material.
  • Fills display boxes and/or bailers with packaged products.
  • Palletize bagged product.
  • Loads wood logs on conveyor belt (as needed).
  • Examines materials or products visually or with hands to ensure conformance to established standards.
  • Maintains and cleans work areas with hand tools, including shovels and brooms, as required or requested.
  • Follows established safety standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • No work experience is required, but experience working around machinery in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
  • Must be able to consistently lift approximately 40-50 pounds.
  • Requires good hand-eye coordination to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or materials. 
  • Capable of standing, walking, bending, and stooping for extended periods (repeatedly).
  • Must be able to work in varying outdoor weather conditions depending on the season.
  • Able to follow detailed instructions.
