Job description

About the Role:
Join Shakti Investments Inc as a FEDEX Line Haul Driver and be a crucial part of our logistics team! We are looking for dedicated drivers who are passionate about delivering exceptional service while ensuring timely transportation of goods.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate FEDEX line haul vehicles safely and efficiently on designated routes.
  • Ensure timely pickup and delivery of freight according to schedule.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety.
  • Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and vehicle maintenance.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations for safe driving.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding any issues or delays.
  • Assist in loading and unloading cargo as needed.
  • Provide outstanding customer service during freight delivery.
Requirements:
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
  • Minimum 2 years of driving experience, preferably in line haul or freight transport.
  • Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
  • Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must pass background checks and drug screening.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
