The Westerner is currently hiring for a full-time Food Service Line Cook to join our restaurant cooking team to prepare and serve the delicious food that our customers love in the West Valley City, UT area. This position earns a competitive salary of $25/hour. In addition to great pay, you will also receive health and dental benefits.

DAY-TO-DAY
This restaurant position works every Wednesday & Thursday 5pm-1am and Friday and Saturday 5pm-2am
As a Line Cook, you arrive at the bar each day determined to ensure that every meal that leaves our kitchen lives up to our standards of quality. To maintain guest satisfaction, you carefully follow recipes as well as assemble and plate food in an appealing manner. Using your strong attentiveness to detail, you ensure that each dish meets our company's standards in every aspect as well as adheres to any special requests.
To make sure that properly cooked food gets out to diners in a timely manner, you communicate effectively with other staff to maintain organization, coordination, and efficiency in the kitchen. You maintain the cleanliness of food prep areas at all times and follow food sanitation standards to the letter. To guarantee high-quality meals, you regularly rotate stock and dispose of expired products. You love working in a fast-paced culinary environment. Your friendly attitude and professional approach towards coworkers and guests alike contribute greatly to the success of our restaurant!

Over the years, our stage has been home to well-known artists from Brad Paisley and George Jones to Rascal Flatts and The Dixie Chicks.
