NIGHT-SHIFT MAINTENANCE FIRST LINE SUPERVISOR

Kosei St. Marys Corporation – St. Marys, Ohio
Department: Maintenance
Schedule: Night Shift – 6pm-6am 
Pay: Based on Experience

POSITION SUMMARY

Kosei St. Marys Corporation is seeking a Night-Shift Maintenance First Line Supervisor to lead and coordinate maintenance activities supporting safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations. This position assigns work, responds to equipment issues, supports maintenance team members, and communicates priorities and unresolved concerns to first-shift leadership.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Direct and support third-shift maintenance associates and assign work based on plant priorities.

  • Coordinate responses to equipment breakdowns and production-related maintenance needs.

  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, and company policies.

  • Monitor work completion and communicate equipment status and follow-up needs to leadership.

  • Coach, train, and provide performance feedback to maintenance associates.

  • Assist with preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and continuous-improvement activities.

  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and safe, organized work areas.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Previous industrial maintenance experience required.

  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

  • Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

  • Strong leadership, communication, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to respond effectively to maintenance issues with limited immediate management support.

  • Ability to meet the position’s physical requirements and work overtime as needed.
