What you will enjoy doing*
  • In this role, you will plan and perform major equipment installation, maintenance, overhauls, and inspections, including corrective, preventative, or predictive work on industrial mechanical and rotating systems and equipment such as centrifugal, reciprocating, and screw compressors
  • Further, you will manage maintenance and repairs of centrifugal and positive displacement pumps
  • Service turbines and synchronous and induction motors
  • Maintain high-speed gearboxes is part of your role
  • You will oversee heat exchangers, cryogenic interchangers, chillers, and cooling towers
  • Work on piping systems and other related process equipment
  • Provide on-site or remote technical support and guidance to regional sites
  • Assist in turnaround planning and mechanical work cost estimation
  • Identify and resolve chronic mechanical asset issues (bad actors)
  • You will support root cause analysis programs for major equipment failures
  • Address high-impact issues with urgency and integrity
  • This position requires a combination of office and field work responsibilities with approximately 30 percent domestic travel
  • And you will maintain accessibility during off-hours as required
  • Work in various weather conditions and access elevated equipment using ladders, scaffolding, man-lifts, and crane baskets

What makes you great
  • You have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the maintenance of mechanical and rotating systems and equipment in an industrial manufacturing environment
  • Experience in installation, troubleshooting, inspection and repairs of industrial mechanical and rotating systems and equipment such as Compressors, Turbines, Blowers and Heat Exchangers
  • Moreover, you have knowledge of Preventive and Predictive maintenance of industrial mechanical and rotating systems and equipment
  • Ability to use precision measuring devices and perform precision alignment on multi-train equipment
  • Excellent communication and team interaction skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as lead/participate on teams
  • You have experience as a self-starter who manages multiple tasks, achieves results with minimal supervision and possesses excellent documentation and record-keeping skills
  • Experience in computers and standard software packages (MS Office, E-Mail etc.) is required
  • Experience using a computerized maintenance management system
