Job description

Position Summary

The Senior Bakery Quality Analyst leads research, testing, and quality compliance efforts for bakery products, ensuring robust data generation and actionable insights. This role acts as a technical lead, supporting project execution, supplier interactions, and mentoring of junior analysts.


Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Lead single and multistage projects, including the design of research protocols that meet client objectives.

  • Generate highquality, actionable data; interpret findings; prepare reports; and contribute to decisionmaking.

  • Conduct and lead physical and sensory testing to assess compliance with brand standards.

  • Train suppliers on brand sensory standards using acceptance panels and descriptive analysis.

  • Communicate results to suppliers and provide recommendations for achieving compliance.

  • Coordinate and request samples in accordance with testing guidelines, ensuring timely arrival.

  • Collect, interpret, and report data using systems such as LIMS and Excel.

  • Receive and correctly log all incoming samples.

  • Assist in training junior analysts and providing technical guidance.

  • Supports senior role/s as needed.

  • Other related duties as assigned.

  • At any time, the incumbent must behave and operate in an ethical and Code of Conduct compliant manner.
