About the Job
Looking for a company that sparks your interest? Our E/I Technicians are responsible for installation, calibration, operation, maintenance, and repair of various instrumentation devices and electrical equipment including control systems, transformers, and motor control centers in a heavy industrial environment.
  • Operation of valves, controllers, transmitters, positioners, PLC's, pneumatic, electronic, and hydraulic lines.
  • Operation and troubleshooting of motors, motor starters, motor controllers, inverters, electrical switchgear, lighting and all electrical circuits from DC up to and including 4160V.
  • Perform basic calibration of instruments on process and utility equipment.
  • Basic troubleshooting and repair of process controllers, plant equipment, and laboratory instruments.
  • Configure and repair microprocessor-based instruments and controllers utilizing available instructions and manuals.
  • Ensure that calibration paperwork, instrument files, electrical files, E&I drawings, and work order documentation is complete with accurate information.

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • The ability to pass an aptitude test in industrial Electrical/Instrumentation functions and complete a training program.
  • Two years electrical or electrician experience in manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical degree, certification or equivalent
