Journeyman & Apprentice Electrician Job Description:

Superior Skilled Trades is hiring experienced Journeyman and Apprentice Electricians for commercial construction, tenant improvement (TI), remodel, and new construction projects throughout the Carson City area. Electricians will perform a variety of electrical installation tasks including conduit installation and bending, wire pulling and termination, panel installation, lighting make-up, fixture installation, and general electrical construction duties.

This is a long-term opportunity with a reputable electrical contractor offering steady work and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications for Journeyman & Apprentice Electricians:

  • Journeyman Electricians should have 5+ years of commercial electrical experience
  • Apprentice Electricians should have at least 2+ years of commercial electrical experience
  • Experience with conduit bending, wire installation, panel installation, and lighting systems
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical drawings
  • Must provide personal hand tools, power tools, and tool belt with necessary electrical tools
  • Must be able to safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and PPE
  • Must be able to perform physical job duties including standing, bending, kneeling, twisting, climbing, and lifting materials throughout the workday

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Must have reliable transportation
