Overview

CS Truck & Trailer is Atlanta's one-stop fleet service provider, specializing in mechanical repairs, mobile service, trailer work, and paint & body solutions. We're dedicated to keeping America's fleets rolling with efficient, reliable, and customer-focused service.

We are currently hiring a CDL Driver- Body Shopย at our Lithonia location to support fast-line service operations.ย 

The CDL Driver is responsible for safely transporting commercial vehicles, equipment, and parts to and from customer locations, dealerships, vendors, and repair facilities. This position supports the Body Shop by ensuring timely pickups and deliveries while maintaining compliance with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety standards.

ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities
    • Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport trucks, trailers, and other commercial equipment.
    • Pick up and deliver customer vehicles to and from the Body Shop.
    • Transport vehicles between company locations, dealerships, vendors, and inspection facilities.
    • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
    • Ensure all required shipping, delivery, and inspection documentation is completed accurately.
    • Maintain compliance with DOT regulations, FMCSA requirements, and company policies.
    • Keep vehicles clean and report any damage or operational issues immediately.
    • Communicate delivery status and scheduling updates with the Transportation Manager and service staff.
    • Provide professional and courteous customer service during pickups and deliveries.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with an acceptable driving record.
  • Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.
  • 2 Years previous experience transporting commercial trucks and equipment preferred.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices. ย Ability to operate manual and automatic transmissions p refe rred.
Working Conditions

ย Occasional overtime or flexible hours may be required to meet customer needs.

  • Valid CDL (Class A).
  • Current DOT Medical Card.
