Scott Electric has a current opening at our Youngwood, PA branch for a Full-Time Project Coordinator in the Commercial Lighting division (Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM).
Responsibilities:
  • Assure accuracy of lot job reconciling including change orders, on time billings and maintain or increase lot job profit levels
  • Ability to converse on a knowledgeable level with electricians and general contractors purchasing managers, estimators, job foreman, vendors and their reps
  • Work with multiple jobs construction schedules, order status and completion deadlines
  • Ability to be proactive rather than reactive, and to achieve best problem resolution for customer and company
  • Provide the best customer service and enthusiasm for increasing sales

Requirements:
  • One-year general sales experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Advanced math skills
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent planning, effective and efficient time and task management, with organizational skills
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Highly motivated, a self-starter with excellent time-management abilities
  • Long term commitment to developing knowledge in the lighting industry
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a highly stressful environment dealing in a very competitive industry
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced working environment
  • Ability to multi-task with meticulous attention to detail
  • Calm and professional demeanor when handling stressful situations
  • Must be a team player with confidence to work independently
  • Must pass background check and drug screening
