Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health status, focusing particularly on mood disorders such as depression and anxiety.
• Collaboratively develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs and goals of each client.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to engage clients in their recovery process.
• Provide ongoing education and resources for clients and their families to empower them in understanding treatment options and self-care strategies.
• Regularly monitor and document client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment strategies based on evidence and client feedback.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists and medical professionals to provide comprehensive care, ensuring that all aspects of the client’s health are addressed.
• Stay informed on the latest research in mental health to enhance treatment efficacy and effectiveness, integrating new methodologies as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date documentation of all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Engage in case consultations and team meetings to contribute to the cooperative culture of clinical excellence and shared best practices.
• Advocate for the needs of your clients, working to reduce the stigma associated with mood disorders and promote mental wellness within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. You will serve a diverse clientele, ensuring that each individual receives tailored therapeutic support to facilitate their healing and growth. The goal is to empower clients to lead fulfilling lives and achieve their personal mental health goals.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMFT, or LMHC in the state of Washington.
• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Strong communication skills, capable of establishing meaningful connections with clients from various backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a clinical setting focusing on mood disorders, demonstrating a proven track record of successful client outcomes.
• Understanding of psychopharmacology and the role of medication in treating mental health conditions.
• Experience with telehealth platforms and digital documentation tools.

Compensation and Benefits
