Position Overview

Lighthouse Wellness Therapeutic Clinic is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC) to join our committed team. In this full-time position, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals facing mood disorders. This challenging yet rewarding role will require both clinical expertise and a heartfelt commitment to patient care.

Work Environment

This role will be performed remotely, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while engaging with clients during normal business hours (Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM). Our user-friendly telehealth platform ensures you can easily conduct assessments and therapy sessions while maintaining strong therapeutic relationships with your clients. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments by utilizing diagnostic tools and techniques to gauge the severity and impact of mood disorders in clients.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to craft personalized treatment plans that align with their unique goals and preferences, integrating feedback from ongoing assessments.
  • Employ evidence-based therapeutic methods, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address mood disorders and improve client outcomes.
  • Provide informative education and supportive resources for clients and their families, enhancing their understanding of mood disorders and the strategies for managing them.
  • Regularly monitor client progress, revising treatment plans as necessary to respond to their evolving needs and circumstances.
  • Work in tandem with psychiatrists and medical professionals to deliver a cohesive approach to treatment that encompasses both therapy and medical management.
  • Remain current on the latest research and practices in the field of mental health to continually inform treatment methodologies and contribute to professional discussions.
  • Maintain precise documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans that meet ethical and legal standards.
  • Engage in case consultations and team meetings to synergize insights and best practices within our clinical team.
  • Actively advocate for clients, promoting awareness and reducing the stigma surrounding mental health issues.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals grappling with mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related issues. Our diverse clientele spans various ages, backgrounds, and experiences, necessitating a culturally competent and empathetic approach. Your expertise will be essential in helping clients navigate their emotional challenges while equipping them with effective coping strategies.

Qualifications
  • Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from a recognized institution.
  • Valid and current licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT within the state of Florida.
  • Proven proficiency in utilizing evidence-based treatments for mood disorders, such as CBT and DBT.
  • Sound understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to collaborate effectively with psychiatrists to enhance patient care.
  • A successful history of achieving positive treatment outcomes in clients experiencing mood disorders.
  • Outstanding communication skills and the ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds to foster a safe therapeutic environment.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in a community mental health setting or outpatient psychiatric practice.
  • Familiarity with telehealth delivery of mental health services, including the best practices for effective online therapy.
  • Participation in professional organizations or ongoing education related to mental health therapies and advancements.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this full-time position is between USD 100,000 and 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
