American Workforce Group has partnered with an established plastics manufacturing leader in Cowlitz County, WA to hire full-time Bilingual Packaging Inspectors / Production Assistants. In this active, high-impact role, you will inspect manufactured plastic products for quality, perform fast-paced packing, assist with light machine adjustments, and keep production lines running smoothly. If you bring strong bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish), physical stamina, and a solid work ethic, let's get you on the floor!
Description for Packaging Inspector:
  • Inspect manufactured plastic goods rapidly and accurately to ensure strict quality standards are met before packaging.
  • Pack plastic products into boxes cleanly, efficiently, and at production line speed.
  • Perform basic, light machine adjustments and monitor line operations under supervisor guidance.
  • Maintain clear, effective bilingual communication across shift teams and supervisory staff.
  • Keep work bays, packing stations, and production aisles clean, organized, and hazard-free.
  • Strictly adhere to facility safety rules, PPE guidelines, and operational standards.

Details for Packaging Inspector:
  • Pay Rate: $17.34+ / hour (Scaling upward based on shift differential).
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday (Enjoy a consistent weekday schedule with weekends OFF!).
  • Available Shifts:
    • Day Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
    • Swing Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
    • Graveyard Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
  • Location: Cowlitz County, WA facility.
  • Position Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire path featuring long-term company growth.

Requirements for Packaging Inspector:
  • Language Requirement: MUST BE BILINGUAL IN ENGLISH AND SPANISH strictly required.
  • Physical Capability: Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs, stand for full 8-hour shifts, bend, stoop, and pull regularly.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment.
  • High attention to detail and pride in product quality inspection.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screenings (background restrictions may apply; drug test required).
  • Exceptional history of daily attendance, prompt punctuality, and jobsite reliability.
