Our busy home health agency is rapidly growing, and weโ€™re seeking an experienced home health aide to assist us in providing superior in-home health care to clients. Our ideal candidate will have excellent organization and communication skills, and 1-3 years of experience working as an HHA or caregiver. Youโ€™ll assist our patients with companionship, basic medical care, light housekeeping duties, personal care, and hygiene tasks so that they are empowered to live happily at home. Responsibilities: โ€ข Travel with patients to health care service providers, doctorsโ€™ offices, grocery stores, or for other errands, as needed โ€ข Supervise medications and assist patient in organizing, refilling, and taking medications, as well as meal planning and preparation โ€ข Help patients accomplish personal care tasks like scheduling appointments, calling doctorsโ€™ offices, and coordinating Medicare and other insurance details โ€ข Help patients complete exercise, and physical therapy and ambulate the patient as indicated in the care plan โ€ข Take care of light housekeeping tasks including but not limited to vacuuming, bed making, laundry, etc. โ€ข Administer Medications: Dispense medications as directed by the Registered Nurse (RN), maintaining an annual error rate of no more than one mistake. โ€ข Resident Response: Attend to resident call lights within 10 minutes to ensure responsive and attentive care. โ€ข Light Housekeeping: Perform regular light housekeeping in resident rooms at least once weekly to promote a clean and comfortable living space. โ€ข Service Charting: Accurately document all services provided without missing tasks, ensuring compliance with company standards.
