WaterSaver Faucet is at Erie and Halsted Streets, while Guardian Equipment is at North Branch and Division Streets on Goose Island. Both companies have gated off-street parking, are close to the Kennedy Expressway (I90), and have easy access to public transportation.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assembly of water faucet and pressure valve components using powered and manual hand tools, such as air screwdrivers, impact wrenches, and power drills
  • Visually inspect component parts for defects prior to assembly
  • Follow written and verbal work instructions
  • Identify parts required to complete assembly
  • Notify supervisor of part shortages
  • Light assembly of smaller products, subassembly of components, picking and packing parts, etc.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Must have basic math skills and computer skills
  • Good communication skills - English required
Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Manufacturing experience
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to Lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Other physical demands of the job include, but are not limited to, bending, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and walking.

Pay and Benefits:

  • Starting salary is $18.00 or more, depending on experience.
  • Pay rate can increase by $1.25 per hour for perfect attendance
