Job description

Providence Alaska Medical Center is seeking a full or part time Fellowship trained, Board Certified or Board Eligible Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) physician to join a well-established practice located in beautiful Anchorage, Alaska. Our practice is primarily outpatient with daytime coverage for hospital consultation and consultative coverage at nights and on weekends. Weekend call coverage is shared between several MFM specialists in Anchorage.

Our full-service, referral-based practice offers a full range of inpatient and outpatient services. We provide prenatal diagnostic procedures including ultrasounds, amniocentesis, CVS, fetal echocardiography, and intrauterine procedures. The schedule is a typical workweek, Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm with 36 patient facing hours per week.

The selected candidate will join one MFM physician with over 20+ years of experience, one genetic counselor, two OB-certified Sonographers, one RN Case manager, CMA, and support staff. The MFM clinic is AIUM-certified in all OB exams and Fetal Echocardiography utilizing GE E10’s with Viewpoint. The practice utilizes Epic EMR.

Support includes the only Level III NICU in the state that provides 24-hour comprehensive specialty care for premature and high-risk infants delivered at PAMC or transported to PAMC NICU, as well as the sickest of full-term infants. On-site Pediatric Surgery and Cardiology, 24-hour Anesthesia, and Radiology.
