About the Role:

The Facility Lifeguard at Cadence HOA plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of all patrons at the aquatic facility. This position requires constant vigilance and the ability to respond swiftly to emergencies, thereby preventing accidents and injuries. Lifeguards are responsible for enforcing facility rules and regulations to promote a safe environment for all users. Additionally, they will conduct regular safety checks and maintain cleanliness in and around the pool area. Ultimately, the Facility Lifeguard contributes to a positive and secure recreational experience for individuals and families alike. Benefits for employees averaging 30 hrs/week, and who work year-round roles are eligible for medical benefits. Swan Aquatics covers 60% of the premium.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Current Lifeguard Certification from a recognized organization (ARC) or the ability to take and pass a lifeguard course.
  • Ability to swim proficiently and demonstrate lifeguarding skills.
  • 16+ years old minimum
Responsibilities:
  • Monitor pool activities to ensure the safety of all swimmers and patrons.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies, providing first aid and CPR as necessary.
  • Enforce facility rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the pool area and equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards.
