Job description

Our Bartenders are essential in creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our members and guests by preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. As a Bartender, you play a pivotal role in maintaining the bar area, ensuring that adequate supplies are available, and serving drinks according to established recipes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect the bar prior to opening to ensure that adequate supplies are available.
  • Request additional supplies as necessary.
  • Follow standard operating procedures for opening and closing duties.
  • Prepare garnishes, mix drinks, and prepare pre-mixed beverages.
  • Greet members and guests warmly and professionally.
  • Mix, prepare, and serve drinks according to approved recipes, maintaining consistency in quality.
  • Collect checks/payments for drinks served.
  • Promptly report any guest complaints to a manager.
  • Maintain and clean the bar area and equipment, ensuring a safe and organized workspace.
  • Keep records of liquors, beers, wine, and sundries to ensure par stock is maintained.
  • Demonstrate strong teamwork skills and maintain a positive and enthusiastic commitment to hospitality.
  • Attend staff meetings as required.
  • Maintain knowledge of wines and liquors in the club's inventory.
  • Consistently comply with all state, local, and club laws/policies related to the service of alcohol.

Requirements
  • Good working knowledge of wine and spirits
  • Prior bartending experience in an upscale atmosphere is preferred
  • Prior experience in a country club setting is a plus.
