Work Environment

This position allows for remote work flexibility, accommodating the needs of our counselors while enabling them to provide care effectively. The typical work schedule spans Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some adaptability based on patient care demands. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations to determine the specific needs of patients and formulate individualized treatment plans tailored to those needs.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions that may include modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Solution-Focused Therapy, working with individuals, couples, and families at various stages of their therapeutic journeys.
• Organize and lead psychoeducational and support groups focused on common mental health issues, providing participants with a sense of community and shared understanding.
• Engage collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and various healthcare professionals to guarantee a cohesive approach to patient treatment.
• Deliver crisis intervention services and provide immediate support for clients experiencing significant mental health episodes.
• Educate individuals about their mental health conditions, possible treatment pathways, and available community resources to empower patient involvement in their care.
• Maintain precise documentation of patient interactions in electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical regulations.
• Actively participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development, demonstrating a commitment to growing within the field.
• Stay current on advancements in mental health therapy and best practices, integrating new knowledge into your therapeutic approach.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field is required for this role.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia is essential.
• Demonstrable knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment methodologies, and therapeutic practices.
• Proven capacity to conduct detailed mental health assessments and develop efficacious treatment strategies to meet client needs.
• Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy within diverse communities.
• Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment while maintaining professional boundaries and ethical standards.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and essential computer applications.
• Adept at working cooperatively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a community health clinic or similar environment is advantageous.
• Experience working with specialized patient populations, such as those struggling with substance abuse or chronic mental health issues.

Compensation and Benefits

Life Carriage Counseling Center offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
