Owatonna Motor Company is looking for a Parts Advisor to join our team.  A qualified candidate is responsible for daily duties in the parts department that will help drive the entire dealership’s overall performance. This role includes working as part of our team to write mechanical repair estimates, control inventory and communicate parts status to service department and other customers. This fast-paced career is exciting and very rewarding for those having a positive attitude!

Parts Counter Person Responsibilities:

  • Receive and process incoming parts
  • Write parts estimates with price and availability
  • Assist customers in person, by email or phone
  • Keep parts area clean, organized and stocked
  • Verify inventory physical counts and investigate discrepancies
  • Source parts using multiple software programs and vendors
  • Assist technicians to source correct parts
  • Communicate with customers and staff in a friendly and professional manner

Parts Counter Person Requirements:

  • Have a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Have experience with auto parts sales (dealership preferred)
