Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care through the comprehensive management of therapy for an assigned group of patients, collaborating closely with physicians and the broader healthcare team.
  • Conduct detailed assessments of patient conditions and participate in developing individualized care plans tailored to meet specific rehabilitation goals.
  • Administer therapeutic interventions that improve physical function and support recovery, while ensuring strict adherence to professional ethics and legal standards.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on exercises, therapies, and adaptive technologies that can be implemented beyond therapy sessions to promote ongoing recovery.
  • Assess and evaluate therapeutic effectiveness throughout patient care, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to enhance outcomes.
  • Participate in the prioritization of caseloads, daily staffing requirements, and coordination of patient assignments to ensure optimal care delivery.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • Valid and current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida is required.
