๐Ÿ“ Daily travel between school sites in Hemet, San Jacinto, Idyllwild, and Anza may be required.
Position Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
โ€ข Evaluating student performance in fine motor skills, sensory processing, posture, movement, and perceptual motor development
โ€ข Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
โ€ข Providing occupational therapy services to students with special needs
โ€ข Collaborating with teachers, support staff, medical personnel, and multidisciplinary teams
โ€ข Providing training and guidance to support staff and families
โ€ข Attending IEP meetings and maintaining progress notes and student records
โ€ข Re-evaluating student progress and updating therapy plans as needed
โ€ข Supervising Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs)
โ€ข Maintaining a safe and effective therapy environment
Qualifications
โ€ข Bachelor's Degree or Higher in Occupational Therapy
โ€ข Current Registration through the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and/or National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
โ€ข Valid California Driver's License
โ€ข One (1) Year of Occupational Therapy Experience Preferred
โ€ข School-Based or Special Needs Experience Preferred
โ€ข Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
โ€ข Ability to travel between assigned school sites
