Memory Care Life Enrichment Leader

Dallas Retirement Village | Dallas, OR

Schedule: Day, Possible Weekends

We're looking for an energetic, compassionate team member who is passionate about creating meaningful experiences for seniors living with memory loss.

At Dallas Retirement Village, our Memory Care Life Enrichment Leaders play a vital role in enhancing residents' quality of life through engaging activities, meaningful connections, and person-centered programming. This position helps create a supportive, stimulating environment where residents can thrive socially, emotionally, physically, and spiritually.

What You'll Do

Life Enrichment Leaders support the planning, coordination, and implementation of engaging activities and programs designed to meet the individual interests, abilities, and needs of Memory Care residents.

Responsibilities include:

  • Facilitate group and one-on-one activities that promote engagement and well-being
  • Build meaningful relationships with residents and families
  • Assist with developing and maintaining activity calendars and schedules
  • Coordinate activities and special events within the Memory Care neighborhood
  • Support resident participation in social, recreational, creative, spiritual, and wellness programs
  • Maintain activity documentation, displays, and resident communication boards
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance resident experiences
  • Create a welcoming, positive, and resident-centered environment

What You Bring

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Ability to interact positively with residents, families, visitors, and team members
  • Eligible to complete required state training and certification requirements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Comfortable speaking and engaging with small and large groups
  • Creative, enthusiastic, and flexible approach to resident programming
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively
