CRi is a well-known non-profit organization located throughout Northern VA, Richmond VA, and Maryland that is dedicated to providing quality services to enable individuals with a wide range of disabilities to live as independently as possible.
We are hiring Life Coaches for our Adult Day Support Program in Chantilly, VA!
If you're dedicated and ambitious, CRi is an excellent place to grow your career! CRi employees are responsible for collaborating and working hand in hand with a diverse team of dedicated staff who support people in achieving their goals and dreams!
CRi's Life Coach is a day support and community program position supporting individuals with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities, exhibiting high intensity behaviors. Our Life Coaches provide life/social skill training, community integration supports, and aid in making meaningful community connections while implementing Person Centered Plans, Behavior Support Plans, and crisis response strategies.
Location: Chantilly, VA
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm
Compensation: $20.79/hr
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications Required
  • Must have a High School diploma.
  • Minimum of one (1) year working with individuals with developmental disabilities, preferably in a day program.
  • Knowledge of high intensity behavioral supports is a must.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.

Physical Demands
  • Ability to walk, stand, stoop and push a wheelchair.
  • Ability to be out in a variety of weather.
  • Ability to lift 70 pounds repetitively.
  • Ability to implement strategic physical intervention techniques that require rapid physical movement.

Working Environment
Indoor and Outdoor program site and various community locations. Must use universal precautions.
