Harbor Therapy Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) to join our team. This remote position focuses on providing comprehensive therapeutic services to individuals at our Detox Center in Tallahassee, Florida. This position is exclusively remote, providing flexibility while ensuring critical services reach those in need at our Detox Center. Team collaboration occurs through virtual meetings, and you will have access to the resources necessary to conduct assessments and provide counseling effectively from your home office. You may also occasionally attend in-person events or meetings in Tallahassee for community engagement purposes.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand and evaluate clients' social, emotional, and psychological needs.
• Provide a range of therapeutic services including individual and group counseling using evidence-based practices tailored to each client's needs.
• Develop and implement personalized service plans that align with clients' goals, ensuring all interventions support their recovery journey.
• Advocate for clients by helping them navigate social services, access necessary resources, and address social justice issues affecting their lives.
• Engage in program development, evaluation, and grant reporting to support the effectiveness and sustainability of our services.
• Collaborate with community organizations, government agencies, and volunteers to enhance the quality and reach of our services.
• Participate in ongoing training, team meetings, and community outreach initiatives to further our collective impact.

Your primary focus will be on individuals seeking detoxification and recovery support. This population often includes those facing substance use disorders, trauma histories, and other mental health challenges. You will be tasked with providing trauma-informed care that respects each client’s unique experiences while supporting them through their recovery process.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Current, active state licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
• Strong communication skills, including active listening and effective advocacy.
• Empathy and cultural competence to work with diverse client populations.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple case files and documentation requirements.

• Prior experience in a nonprofit or healthcare setting, especially with substance use and mental health populations.
• Knowledge of community resources and a strong grasp of social justice initiatives.
• Experience utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and client interactions.
