What is a license patent?

A license patent refers to a legal agreement in which the owner of a patent (the licensor) grants permission to another party (the licensee) to use, produce, or sell the patented invention. This arrangement allows the licensee to benefit from the protected technology while the patent owner typically receives royalties or other compensation. License patents are commonly used in industries like pharmaceuticals, technology, and manufacturing to promote innovation and collaboration without transferring ownership of the patent itself.

These skills are vital for maximizing the value of intellectual property assets and ensuring compliance in a competitive legal and business environment.
