Employment Opportunity: Building Superintendent

Location: Jersey City, NJ
Property Type: 303Unit Condominium Building
We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Building Superintendent to oversee the daytoday maintenance and operation of a 303unit condominium community in Jersey City.
This position is ideal for a handson professional with strong mechanical and plumbing abilities who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and wellfunctioning residential environment.
Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily general building and common area maintenance
  • Respond to and complete work orders in a timely and professional manner
  • Diagnose and repair plumbing issues (strong plumbing skills required)
  • Perform preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of common areas, mechanical rooms, and exterior grounds
  • Coordinate access and support for contractors and vendors as needed
  • Monitor building conditions and report larger repair needs to management
  • Participate in emergency response as required
Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a Superintendent, Handyman, or Building Maintenance Professional
  • Strong plumbing skills required
  • Black Seal License preferred
  • Working knowledge of electrical, HVAC, and general mechanical systems
  • Ability to manage work orders and prioritize tasks independently
  • Professional demeanor with strong communication skills
  • Must be dependable, organized, and detailoriented
