Lice infestations are spread primarily through close personal contact or by sharing items like hats, brushes, or bedding. While lice are not considered dangerous and do not spread diseases, they can be bothersome and require specific treatments to eliminate. Proper hygiene and the use of medicated shampoos or lotions are effective ways to remove lice.
