Position Overview

Wild Spirit Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to enhance our remote team at our detox center located in North Las Vegas, Nevada. As an LCSW, you will play a pivotal role in providing essential mental health care services that improve the lives of individuals facing various challenges related to substance use and mental health. This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $110,000 per year.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including doctors, nurses, and addiction specialists, to assess client needs and provide integrated care.
  • Design and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique situation, ensuring regular evaluations and adjustments based on their progress.
  • Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families regarding mental health issues, coping strategies, and available community resources to support their journey.
  • Stay current with best practices and emerging trends in mental health and substance abuse treatment to deliver evidence-based care.
  • Conduct regular individual therapy sessions, offering support through various therapeutic modalities and interventions.
  • Document client interactions and progress systematically to comply with clinical standards and organizational policies.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals at various stages of detoxification and recovery. This includes clients struggling with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and trauma. Your expertise will be crucial in helping these clients navigate their challenges and fostering resilience and long-term healing.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work (BSW) from an accredited program is required.
  • A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Nevada is a must.
  • Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to engage effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster trusting relationships with clients and team members alike.
Preferred Experience
  • Two years of experience in a clinical social work setting, particularly within substance abuse or mental health treatment environments.
  • Experience working with senior citizens or vulnerable populations is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
