Job description

Specific Duties:
1. Cleans classrooms, department offices and teachers' lounge/workrooms
2. Cleans ceiling vents.
3. Locks all doors and secures all windows.
4. Cleans restrooms.
5. Cleans stairways, entrances, and hallways.
6. Cleans music room, home economics area, shop area, administrative offices,
library/media center.
7. Cleans locker rooms and physical education rooms and offices
8. Cleans gymnasium/auditorium.
9. Cleans outside entrance/exit, sidewalks and dumpster areas.
10. Performs minor repairs as needed.
11. Informs the supervisor of items that are in need of repair.
12. Keeps all custodial carts and closets neat and in proper order.
13. Informs the Supervisor of any needed equipment or supplies.
14. Sees that all entrances are locked or unlocked at the proper times according to given
times from the Principal or Supervisor.
15. Performs other duties as assigned by the Principal, Supervisor or Superintendent.
