The Sheraton Oklahoma City Downtown is a landmark location in hospitality and is seeking a Barista in our, proudly serves Starbucks, Library Coffee Shop! Operated by Crescent Hotels and Resorts, which is the leader in hospitality management, this property seeks an upbeat individual who loves customer service and hospitality. Shift hours are from 5 AM - 1 PM and this position is part-time working 2-4 days a week. If this is you, we want to hear from you!

JOB TYPE: Full-Time

SCHEDULE: AM Shift

Some day to day tasks this postions is responsible for include:

  • Take and serve guest orders promptly and according to the service manual.
  • Do all necessary set-up side work as assigned.
  • Answer any guest questions about the menu/beverages.
  • Operate the electronic cash register/MICROS P.O.S. system
  • Anticipates customer and the Library needs by constantly evaluating the environment and customer for cues.
  • Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Experience as a barista strongly preferred.
  • Training and willingness to continue learning about food and beverage preparation.
  • Exceptional listening and communication skills.
  • Ability to walk, bend, and stand for extended periods.
  • Availability to work around peak hours, including nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A polite, engaging personality.
  • Commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence.
  • Willingness to work as part of a high-energy, efficient team in a fast-paced environment.
