Overview:

Southern Pride Custom Cabinets is a rapidly growing high-end commercial architectural millwork and cabinetry company in Madison, AL. We are seeking an experienced Cabinet Vision Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience and good understanding of CNC programs and Cabinet Vision design software.


Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for creating accurate and complete drawings using Cabinet Vision to drive the technical needs of the CNC machine and to be used for customer approval
  • Engineer machine drawings to run CNC machines and get successfully nested output for shop floor
  • Revise Shop Drawings per Architect revisions and final field measurements
  • Maintain Cabinet Vision Library and all updates


Requirements:

  • HSD or GED equivalent; AS degree/certificate/certifications a plus
  • REQUIRED: 3-5+ years of experience engineering cabinet drawings using Cabinet Vision software
  • AutoCAD and AlphaCam experience is a plus
  • Cabinet building and installing experience is a plus
  • Must be able to read prints and shop drawings
  • Possess a strong working knowledge of different types of materials for cabinetry making
  • Dependability and attention to detail and follow through is crucial
  • Candidate must be a team player and continuously strive to improve departmental and company performance
  • Must be able to work independently to produce shop drawings from architectural drawings
  • Must be able to lift (above 50lbs), bend and work on your feet for extended periods of time
  • Must pass pre-employment drug test and have clean background record

Full time position

Pay is commensurate with experience

Hours vary based on season/demand - typically Monday to Thursday, 6:00am to 4:30pm
