Job description

School Librarian
Baton Rouge Ochsner Discovery Health Sciences Academy seeks Bachelor’s or Master’s degree Librarian certified in Library Science, Elementary Education, Middle School Education or Special Education. Reading Specialist and/or ESL certification is desirable; 2+ years experience with children in a school setting is preferred. Familiarity with the Louisiana Student Standards, EOC Assessments, and LEAP Assessment is an asset. Interest in leading extracurricular student activities is a plus. Training and workshops in the summer may be required. Position available August 2026. ​
