Job description

Library Tech Assistant

Essex Westford School District (EWSD) has an opportunity for a Library Tech Assistant to join the team at Essex High School beginning the 2026-2027 school year. This position shall involve operating all facets of the automated library system, providing back-up service to the EHS library media office, and to generate all library reports. This position is full-time, 7 hours/day, school-year.

The successful candidate will supervise students and other library patrons, enforcing established library rules and guidelines to maintain a quiet but dynamic and respectful atmosphere, and initiating disciplinary action as necessary. This position will perform a variety of clerical tasks associated with library information systems which include but are not limited to barcoding books, performing various data entry tasks, and producing reports.

Pay: $22.43+ Based on Experience
