Position Title: Student Worker - Library (Work-Study) Job Description: A library worker for the Phillips Library is an integral part of library functions. The individual is a representative of the Phillips Library both in the office and on campus. The appointed individual will: Manage printer functions. Handle circulation transactions. Answer patron questions regarding library procedure and services. Be a receptionist for the library. Perform light reference work as deemed by the library supervisor. Complete inventory of all library materials. Assist with moving and removing items from the collection. Be able to lift and drag up to 50 lbs. Perform other tasks as assigned. Salary and Hours Students are paid the current minimum wage for Maryland. Students will work a total of eight (8) hours per week. Full Time/Part Time: Part time.
