Job description

The Hazel Crest School District is seeking an individual to fill aย Library Media Specialist position.

JOB SUMMARY:

Under general supervision of the District Schools principal, the Library Media Specialist provides students and faculty with an enriched library media center environment containing a wide variety and range of materials that will assist with intellectual growth, and aid students and faculty in acquiring the skills needed to take full advantage of media resources.

QUALIFICATIONS: Certified Librarian with media/information and technology experience.

EDUCATION
ย Illinois Professional Educator License -ย Library Information Specialist Endorsement or ELA Teacher Endorsement.
EXPERIENCE
Student teaching internship, or full-time media specialist experience.
ย 




WORKING CONDITIONS:

The work year for this position is 180 days.ย  Salary is in accordance with the teacher salary schedule.ย  The District offers excellent fringe benefits, including life, health and dental insurance.
