Internship Term: Fall 2026 (September-December)

Internship Location: on-site in Indianapolis, IN

Anticipated Time Commitment: approximately 20 hours per week

The Digital Photography Intern will assist in the photography workflow for Pacers Sports & Entertainment social channels, including Pacers, Fever, Boom, and Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Our ideal candidate is passionate about the sports and entertainment industry and has knowledge of broadcast photography to be considered for this internship. Preference will be given to applicants who have experience with Adobe Creative Suite and professional photography equipment. As an intern, you will act as a photography production assistant for event coverage, interviews and game days while efficiently prioritizing workload in a fast-paced environment, assisting in the organization and structure of current and future projects, and logging/tagging assets within the PS&E media management platform.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with coverage during Pacers, Fever, and Boom games (including nights and weekends), inclusive of photo editing, handling of equipment, and logging files.

• Assist in ideation of creative photo.

• Work within and manage our photo file library.

• Shoot and edit photos from team practices and games.

• Assist in covering practice and postgame media availabilities.

• Transcribe player and coaching sound quotes for web and video content.

• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Enrolled in a college or university program as a junior, senior, or graduate student.

• Strong photo editing skills.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Proficiency with DSLR or mirrorless cameras and related photography equipment

• Familiarity with Adobe Cloud applications.

• Ability to maintain professional, journalistic relationships with players and coaches.

• Must be able to work with others to solve problems and deliver projects on time with accuracy, professionalism, and outstanding customer service.
