Job description

ProSync is seeking passionate Security Specialist I to help ensure security and intelligence compliance with policies and regulations, drawing on some of the nation's leading personnel and cybersecurity thought leaders for enhancing, accelerating, and assuring the United States Navy's ability to counter existing and emerging security threats. 

The pay for this position ranges between $75-90k with some flexibility depending on Location, experience and overall qualifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES
This position provides support to the Tech Library and includes:

  • Performing administrative tasks and basic document control while contributing to the organization's information management needs; includes opportunities for professional growth across additional functional areas.
  • Demonstrated experience in Physical Security (PHYSEC) and/or Information Security (INFOSEC) within the Department of Defense (DoD) or the Intelligence Community (IC), showcasing a strong understanding of the intricate interplay between safeguarding personnel, facilities, and sensitive information in a highly regulated environment.

Requirements

  • Two (2) years of experience in Physical Security (PHYSEC) and Information Security (INFOSEC) in the DoD or IC. 
  • Experience with alarm and access control systems is desired.
  • If a proposed individual does not meet both the desired education and experience qualifications, six (6) years of professional technical activities related to security would be considered equivalent.
  • Two (2) of these six (6) years should demonstrate experience in Physical Security (PHYSEC) and Information Security (INFOSEC) in the DoD or IC.
  • A minimum active Secret security clearance or higher is required to be considered for this position.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
