About the Employer
Pacific Coast Academy is a tuition-free, public charter school serving transitional kindergarten through 12th grade students in San Diego, Orange, Riverside, and Imperial Counties. We take great pride in being able to offer our students flexible personalized learning experiences through our many unique and dynamic programs.
Job Summary
Under the direction of the Library Assistant Administrator, Library Administrator and Director of Enrichment, the Library Specialist is responsible for checking in returned School property to student's Enrichment accounts; assisting with the collection of School property, as needed; maintaining the library management system; ensuring that patron's records are up-to-date; sending notices of overdue materials; adding new materials to the library catalog; running inventory reports to ensure that items are properly accounted for; checking out materials to patrons and preparing checked out items for pick-up; checking in materials upon their return; shelving returned items; providing excellent customer service to families and School staff. All employees are expected to follow the responsibilities and procedures as delineated in the Employee Handbook.
Library Specialist needed to work in-person in a charter school library in Poway, CA. This is a year-round position with excellent benefits and a supportive work culture.
