Job description

Job Description The City of Dickinson is seeking a dependable and customer-service-oriented Library Page to support the daily operations of the Dickinson Public Library. This position is responsible for keeping library materials organized and accessible while providing friendly, basic assistance to library patrons. Key Responsibilities Shelve and organize books and other library materials according to the library's classification system.

Assist patrons with locating books, materials, and other resources. Maintain clean, organized, and welcoming library areas. Perform basic clerical and administrative tasks as assigned.

Assist library staff with daily operations and special projects. Provide courteous and helpful service to library patrons. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Must be at least 16 years of age. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to interact professionally and courteously with the public. This is a limited-hour, non-benefited position averaging approximately 15 hours per week.
