About the Employer
Banning Unified School District is a diverse community that collaborates to develop responsible, respectful, and prepared students to achieve their full potential. With over 500 employees and a $70M operational budget, the District serves nearly 4,500 students enrolled in pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade from Banning, Cabazon, White Water, Poppet Flats, and the Morongo Indian Reservation. With one preschool, four elementary schools, one middle school, one comprehensive high school, one continuation high school, and one independent study school, the district is one of the largest employers in the city of Banning. In February 2021, Banning Unified School District opened a first-of-its-kind Performing Arts Center at Banning High School. In addition, the 27,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility includes seating for over 500 with built-in, high-tech equipment to enhance opportunities for students to engage in advanced Career Technical Education (CTE) programs using the latest technologies.

Comments and Other Information
MUST PASS THE DISTRICT WRITTEN EXAM. Applicants that pass the initial screening will be
notified of the examination date. The written exam will cover English language usage, school and
student safety, first aid, student interaction, and human relations.
This position is part of the California School Employees Association (CSEA) bargaining unit.
After a conditional offer of employment, applicants must meet the following requirements:
1. Must pass District physical examinations and drug/alcohol screening
2. A current TB clearance
3. Fingerprint clearance from the Dept. of Justice and the FBI
