Library Designers primarily focus on the interior layout and aesthetic aspects of library spaces, often working with clients to create functional environments. Library Architects, on the other hand, are involved in the structural planning and overall building design, ensuring the library's physical framework meets safety and code standards. While both roles collaborate on library projects, their core responsibilities and credentials differ, with Library Architects typically holding architecture licenses and focusing on structural design, whereas Library Designers concentrate on interior and spatial aesthetics.

Job description

Salary: DOE

Position Overview

Designblendz is seeking a Graphic Designer who fluently blends traditional design craft with modern AI-assisted workflows. This is not a role for someone who only uses AI, nor for someone who resists it. We're looking for a designer who can produce at a volume and velocity the old tools alone can't match by pairing deep Adobe Creative Suite expertise with fluency across current and emerging AI design tools.

This position supports brand, marketing, proposal, and product initiatives across Designblendz and our newest product offering, Realtour. The ideal candidate produces high-quality, on-brand work at scale, understands why traditional design principles still matter, and treats AI as a force multiplier rather than a crutch.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and produce a high volume of marketing collateral, proposals, pitch decks, social content, brand assets, and internal materials
  • Leverage AI tools to accelerate ideation, drafting, iteration, and production
  • Execute final assembly, typography, layout, and refinement in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • Maintain and evolve brand standards across both the Designblendz and Realtour identities
  • Partner with marketing, sales, and leadership to turn rough concepts into polished deliverables on tight timelines
  • Build and maintain reusable templates, component libraries, and AI prompt libraries that scale the team's output
  • Prepare files for print, digital, web, and presentation delivery with production-ready accuracy
  • Stay current with emerging AI design tools and workflows, bringing new capabilities into the team

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of graphic design experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating a range across print, digital, and presentation work
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • Demonstrated fluency with AI-assisted design workflows and tools
  • Strong foundation in typography, layout, color theory, and composition
  • Ability to prompt AI tools effectively and edit their output with a critical eye, knowing when to accept, when to refine, and when to start over
  • Excellent file organization, version control, and production discipline
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in architecture, real estate, AEC, or proptech environments
  • Motion design skills (After Effects, Premiere, or AI-driven video tools)
  • Figma proficiency for digital and web design collaboration
  • Experience designing pitch decks, investor materials, or sales collateral
  • Working knowledge of web design principles and light front-end familiarity (HTML/CSS)
  • Experience building brand systems, style guides, or component libraries

What Success Looks Like

  • Noticeably higher team output and turnaround speed through effective AI-augmented workflows
  • Consistently polished, on-brand deliverables across Designblendz and Realtour
  • A growing library of reusable templates, components, and prompt workflows that compound team productivity over time
  • Work that is clearly crafted, AI-assisted, but not AI-obvious
  • Becoming the go-to resource for both traditional design execution and AI tool adoption across the company
