Location: Algona, WA (On-site) 

Job Type: Full-Time; Hourly, Non-Exempt 

Reports To: Senior Facility & Maintenance Manager

Travel Required: Preferred Location – Algona, WA with travel to other COMC locations  

Schedule: 

  • Saturday - Wednesday, 9:00am - 5:00pm

Compensation: $21.50 - $23.70 per hour, paid bi-weekly

Job Description 

COMC has an exciting opportunity for a Facility Associate I to join our team inAlgona, WA This person will be responsible for safely performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment, to support the company's business goals and objectives. They will exemplify COMC’s core values and card culture through action and mentorship. 
The ideal candidate would have experience as a maintenance technician and possess a strong level of attention to detail who thrives in an ever-changing environment.They will be a collaborative employee with outstanding interpersonal communication, conflict resolution, and motivational skills. Qualifications

Job Responsibilities 

Primary Focus – Transit & Operation Support 

  • Safely operate company vehicles to support scheduled transit routes, deliveries, pickups, and internal logistics 

  • Ensure timely movement of materials and supplies between facilities 

  • Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns 

  • Prepare vehicles for daily use, including cleanliness, fueling, and supply readiness 

  • Coordinate transit schedules and route priorities with internal teams 

  • Support loading, unloading, and staging of materials related to transit operations 

  • Communicate delays, issues, or changes in transit plans promptly to stakeholders 

  • Follow all transportation safety policies and operational procedures 

Secondary Focus – Inventory Support 

  • Assist with basic inventory movement, staging, and tracking 

  • Support inventory counts, transfers, and organization as assigned 

Tertiary Focus – Janitorial & Light Maintenance 

  • Perform basic janitorial and facility upkeep tasks 

  • Assist with simple maintenance tasks and work orders under guidance 

General Responsibilities 

  • Maintain a safe work environment and follow all safety policies and PPE requirements 

  • Accurately complete logs, checklists, and work documentation 

  • Communicate issues, delays, or safety concerns promptly 

  • Uphold COMC values and exemplify CARD culture 

  • Perform other duties as assigned 

Qualifications

Job Qualifications 

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record 

  • Strong attention to detail and safety awareness 

  • Ability to multitask and adapt to shifting priorities 

  • Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook) 

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs 

  • High School Diploma or GED 

  • Willingness to cross-train in inventory and facility support functions

Work Environment & Physical Requirements 

This position requires the ability to safely operate company vehicles for extended periods of time and to frequently enter and exit vehicles throughout the workday. The role involves standing, walking, bending, and lifting materials related to transit and operational support. The Facility Associate I must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. The position may require working in both indoor and outdoor environments, including exposure to varying weather conditions. Prolonged sitting while driving, as well as occasional climbing, crouching, and reaching, may be required.
