Job description

The group you'll be a part of The Corporate Engineering Library, part of the Business Operations Group, enables Lam employees worldwide to access the research publications, technical information, and knowledge resources that support innovation. Through library systems, information services, and AI-enabled research technologies, the library team improves knowledge access, research workflows, and user experience while ensuring alignment with licensing compliance and business requirements. By enhancing library systems, information services, and AI-enabled research technologies, you will improve knowledge access, research workflows, and user experience while identifying opportunities to strengthen cross-functional collaboration and system integration across the company. What you'll do Implement, maintain, and enhance library systems and services, while supporting the evaluation and deployment of AI-enabled search, discovery, and research technologies that improve knowledge access and research workflows in alignment with licensing, governance, and business requirements. Assist employees with information retrieval, conduct reference interviews, provide training on library resources, and support research and resource discovery.

Interface with vendors and publishers to support subscriptions, content access, system enhancements, and emerging information services. Maintain the library website, information architecture, resource access points, and related systems. Resolve technical and access issues affecting library content and platforms.

Monitor developments in information services, AI-enabled research tools, and specialized databases, and recommend improvements to library resources, technologies, services/policies, and research workflows. Provide library support for company initiatives and cross-functional projects. Evaluate library services and technologies within the context of the broader enterprise environment, identifying opportunities to improve cross-functional workflows, system integration, information access, and user experience.

Salary CA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $70,304.00 - $133,000.00

The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
